About the Author
Scott Watson is a former Green Beret officer with extensive combat experience. He began his military career at the United States Military Academy at West Point where he was commissioned as an infantry officer and assigned to the 101st Airborne Division. After completing Special Forces training, he served with the 5th Special Forces Group (Airborne).
Scott deployed as the Detachment Commander for a Special Forces Operational Detachment Alpha, commonly referred to as an "A" team, during his first two combat tours. Scott's team conducted hundreds of raids throughout central Iraq in Baghdad and Samarra targeting elements of terror networks and officials of the former regime under Saddam Hussein.

After being promoted, Scott returned to Iraq two more times. First as the plans officer for his battalion and responsible for overseeing the combat operations of all eighteen Special Forces teams in northern Iraq and, during his final deployment, Scott was selected to serve in a special task force responsible for organizing Iraqi national counterterrorism infrastructure.

Since leaving the military, Scott has worked in many different fields in a variety of roles. His primary focus has always been to leverage his combat experience as a positive force to improve team leadership and performance. He has worked with clients in food and beverage manufacturing, engineering firms, schools, and churches in countries around the world including Pakistan, India, China, Vietnam, Thailand, Saudi Arabia and Jordan.
